Between 1962 and 1985 Chinese government artists produced some seriously awesome artwork promoting the government’s aerospace research program. The posters depict extraordinarily happy children reaching for the stars and sharing the joy of space exploration with their friends, human and animal alike. Here you see “Little Guests in the Moon Palace” from 1972 and “Bringing his playmates to the stars” from 1980.
